OUR STORY

Gabriella Szikra is the chef-owner of Konyhám in Balatonfenyves and Konyhám Stúdió 365 in Fonyód. She opened her first restaurant in 2017. In 2018 her ‘Gofcsi’ became beach dish of the year; in 2019 with her team she won the “Séfek Séfe” (Chef of Chefs) TV show, and she opened her second restaurant in 2021. Having gained international experience, she is at home in preparing dishes that offer a culinary experience with a special touch.

EVENTS

The jewel of the Balabella Apartment Hotel is the panoramic Wine and Culinary Terrace, where we provide a venue for events of 20-40 guests in an ambient environment and stunning sunset backdrop.

Balabella offer 3-4 hour degustation events with wine pairing prepared by our Michelin chef! Surprise your friends, colleagues or clients with a fine-dining open kitchen set up on a unique rooftop terrace. The degustation menu courses are arranged in advance according to the guests’ request. Award-winning wine pairing with each course is optional.

We offer 3-4 hour wine tasting events prepared by our sommelier and accompanied with hors d’oeuvres created by our Michelin chef! Enjoy the sunset with a panoramic view of Lake Balaton in an ambient atmosphere in the company of friends, colleagues or clients, while tasting award-winning wines and delicious hors d’oeuvres.
